Welcome to “Update Canada” for the week of January 31st, 2022.Â
What a crazy week we’ve had in Canada. Hello, everybody. I’m excited to share with you some things that have been going on around the country as well as the world, as it relates to this pandemic and the information coming out. So today’s going to be a good one. Hello, Canadian chiropractors. This is Bharon Hoag the executive director at OneChiropractic and The Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today, Monday, January 31st for your weekly update. So man, crazy times, man, your convoy is getting the attention of the world. So obviously the people are really stepping up and finding new and creative ways to make their voices heard.
But more importantly, again, we have another week in Canada where there’s a lot of threats, but not anything really happening. As a matter of fact, we’re starting to see. A little bit of a change in the talk from your health ministers, as well as your primes. The, again, the narrative is just falling apart all over the world.
So I think I’m going to be very surprised at this point. If we see any new mandates being dropped I don’t know that it could happen. We’re prepared if it does. I’ve told you that from the very beginning, But I think with what’s going on around the world, United Kingdom coming out the way they have obviously last week they stopped all types of any type of control or mandates, no masks, no vaccine passports, no vaccine mandates at all, no travel restrictions.
They’ve pretty much just shut it all down. And not only that, but near the end of the week, we started having all of this data coming out of the United Kingdom, basically stating that those that are double Vaxxed will never be able to have natural immunity with any of this. Type issue. So it’s pretty damning evidence that’s coming out and it’s the first real powerhouse country to come out and basically say everything we’ve been saying.
So it’s very interesting to see. How the rest of the world is taking this information. We’re still not sure, a hundred percent how it’s going to impact other nations. We believe it’s going to have an impact for sure. Again, we’ve already started to see the tone change there in Canada. Going from we’re trying to stop the spread to we’re trying to manage the symptoms.
It’s just interesting. So nonetheless we do not have any new mandates that have been issued anywhere throughout Canada. And we’re starting to see the people rising up with the restrictions that have been in place, the borders and all of those types of things. So it’s been a crazy ride.
We are continuing to work with our legal team and putting out different statements to the different colleges. We’re still working on the x-ray issue in British Columbia. We’re aware of the tax that’s going on up in Quebec. Our legal team is working also continually with the students. We’ve been having some success there working with them to ensure that they can continue their schooling as they go through without having to be vaccinated, rather.
Lots of stuff that is still going on, the biggest thing is really about continuing to rally the people I’ve been saying. From the beginning. And I’m going to ask again, and I don’t mean to beat a dead horse, but it’s, this is so important right now in this opportunity that we bring our people together so that we have the organizational structure to be able to move forward with other issues that are facing our profession throughout Canada.
We’ve got multiple issues that we’ve just accepted to be reality, but the defense counsel is not going to tolerate it any further. And we’re going to start working and organizing. We want to get before. The good chiropractic schools. We want to get behind those organizations that are supporting the growth and the expansion of chiropractic throughout Canada.
And we’re going to push in that effort, but that only can happen when we have the numbers to support it. So I’m asking that as we continue to work on these issues and update you on the Monday videos that you share them with your colleagues and you make sure that they’re aware of what we’re doing and what our vision is.
Send them to our website, send them this video, whatever you need to do to continue to get people, to understand the big vision that we have of defending the rights of practicing chiropractors around the world. So as we continue to work on these issues please know that we’re here. If you hear of anything, or if there’s anything new coming in.
We want you to send it to us, but right now is such an important time in history with the decisions we make. We can either sit back and ride and say, okay, we’re going to ride the wave of everything else that’s happening around us. Or we can make sure we’re at the front of the line, really directing traffic, making sure that we, the way things set up.
Isn’t it a way that’s more beneficial for us to be able to make chiropractic the number one health care choice in the world. So I’m asking for your help to spread it. I’m asking for your help to manifest that vision of the year of the people that we have deemed it since the beginning of the year.
