The mission of the Chiropractic Defense Council (CDC) is to empower chiropractors and safeguard the profession’s progress; the CDC stands as an advocate and protector of this field.
It is the position of the CDC to champion the chiropractic profession, ensuring a thriving future for practitioners and patients alike, including those who walk on all fours.
The CDC has fought for two-and-a-half years and continues to collaborate with professionals in the animal chiropractic field to address the issue of inconsistent language and regulations across the United States. We are committed to supporting everyone who holds certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) and the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA).
Animal chiropractors have faced significant challenges, including receiving cease-and-desist notices, hefty fines, and threats of license suspension for simply carrying out their licensed and certified work.
Unfortunately, this is facilitating the growth of a black market for unlicensed and untrained persons in large numbers.
The public hires these individuals to treat their animals without licenses or oversight from regulatory bodies. It is a misleading and inaccurate representation of the profession, which can lead to safety issues. The CDC is committed to addressing these infringements and safeguarding the rights of chiropractors.
“I have stayed here to fight, but not practicing in the profession I want means I am not living up to my full potential. The mental anguish is the hardest part. Always looking over your back. For me to feel comfortable practicing animal chiropractic again, we need to change the laws. The CDC gave me the confidence to continue to fight for the rights of chiropractors and the public’s right to access quality animal chiropractic care.” READ THE CASE STUDY HERE.
Our strength lies in our numbers and our ability to organize the animal chiropractic community. All professionals in this field must join forces in advocating for fair and consistent regulations nationwide.
Through the support of its legal team and political influence, the CDC continues to create an environment that upholds the rights of animal chiropractors in every state. Together, we are a force to be reckoned with.
Achieving this goal requires collective action. By committing just $33 per month, you can support the efforts to standardize language and regulations, ensuring animal chiropractors can practice without undue restrictions. Every dollar goes towards the legal and advocacy work required to establish fair and consistent guidelines across all states. Your contribution is essential to our cause.
Join the cause to demonstrate the solidarity and determination of the animal chiropractic community and help OneChiropractic and the CDC safeguard the future and generational change in animal chiropractic.
