Update South Africa 06-06-22
Still pressing forward with our legal cases against the universities, as well as looking at what might be coming down the road. So today I’ve got a little bit of information for you. Good morning, chiropractors from South Africa, my name is Bharon Hoag. I am the Executive Director of OneChiropractic and The Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today, Monday, June 6th, 2022 for your weekly update. Hope you’ve had an incredible week. We are continuing to press forward. I believe this coming week, we are going to be initiating complaints against the universities. Again, we are going after them mandating vaccination for staff as well as students. And we believe that we’re in a position to make that move now. We’re also monitoring just kind of the movement patterns of the government. Everyone’s a little shifty right now as we enter the middle of the year.
And so we’re just keeping a close eye on that. We’re also continuing to grow our network of legal representatives to make sure we’re prepared for any other issues that are going on in South Africa. So our team is actively working. We want you to know that our goal is to make sure that we’re protecting the rights of practicing chiropractors and we’re doing so around the rest of the world. And we want to make sure that we’re doing that in South Africa as well. One of the things I can’t ask of you though is to communicate with me as you run into different issues that you’re facing. I’m not saying that we’re going to take on everything that you may consider an issue for you and your ability to practice, but we are looking to branch out and cover more topics that impact more chiropractors.
We want to grow our defense council. We want to grow the tribe that we have there. And a lot of that has to do with doing work that people perceive as important. And so we want to diversify things that we’re doing in South Africa but we need your help for that. And you need to let me know what you’re seeing, what you’re experiencing, and issues that we might start researching and looking into to ensure that we create the best reality for you to practice in. So not a lot for you this week, as we’re just working on that case and we’re ready to file. But would love some feedback. We’d love to get information from you. I read every email that comes through. To encourage you to do that this week and we’ll be back at you next week. Hopefully, I’ll have a little bit more information about where we’re at in the legal suit and you guys have communicated with me so we can start working on some new projects together. So we love you.
