All right guys. This is a crazy week, man. I will be headed to Australia. I have information in today’s video about exactly where I’m gonna be. We have all of our local locations decided. All of that information is the same in New Zealand. I’ll be sharing that information. Big updates in Canada and o as always, things going on in the United States.

Good morning, our warriors. My name is Baron Hoig. I am the Executive director of the Chiropractic Defense Council. Coming to you today, Monday, February 20th. You can tell my sceneries a little bit different. It’s funny because I do, I’ve been using that virtual background but my room is green and so, you can’t use virtual backgrounds when your room has green.

Everywhere. And you’re just getting a blurred-out background this week. And I am gonna start by just asking for a little bit of patience. I’m headed to Australia tomorrow. I’m in Phoenix right now. And I’m headed to Australia tomorrow. So my videos for the next few weeks are gonna be random.

I’m gonna try to capture what’s happening on the trip, let everyone know what’s going on, what we’re doing. But I am gonna ask for a little bit of your patience on delivery times. I know it’s gonna take me a little bit to figure out what day it is somewhere versus somewhere else. Please be patient with me as I give you that information. And, in some of the countries, there may not be a lot as I’m very focused on my trips to Australia, and New Zealand. So please be patient as we deal with that. But I’m telling you, As my opener today, before I get into the country by Country updates, man, I wanna tell you, I, I’ve just finished in a weekend here in Phoenix, Arizona with the U A c, the Ultimate Achievers Club group that I’ve been so honored and blessed to be a part of for the last couple of years.

And man, what an incredible weekend of fellowship and working with some of the brightest minds in the profession. With love and purity and just sharing from the bottom of our hearts. And so I got to listen to some of my friends, really share their hearts. And I was so blessed. Moved to tears a couple of different times, some incredible one-liners that I actually wanna share with you.

Real quick, I try to keep these videos short, but I just think these are amazing. So here are some of the things I took away from it. One of the quotas is that you have to find a purpose that justifies the suffering. And I thought that was fantastic. That was from Dr. Fred d Domenico, and he was sharing about understanding the purpose and understanding how purpose connects with who you are as a human and following God’s call and all these awesome little tangibles that, that’s one nugget that I took from him that I just thought was great.

So again, that’s found a purpose that justifies the suffering. It’s just awesome stuff. Here’s another one that I love. This was from Dr. Pat Gentempo. It says, sometimes in life you have to make things happen. Sometimes you have to just let things happen and a master knows how to do both and when to do both.

And I thought, man, what an awesome, reality check that sometimes we have to have grit. We’ve gotta dig, we’ve gotta move, we’ve gotta get things done. But other times we need to sit back and just let things happen. And it happened despite us, and we’re just literally going with the current of life at that moment and watching God work despite who we are.

and then the real mastery is knowing when to make it happen and when to let it happen. And I just thought that was such a phenomenal quote. And the last one I’ll share with you, there’s so many of ’em, but the last one I love to give anything than your best is to waste your gift.

We all have different talents and gifts. We all have different things. I’m called to do this work here in the c d c, but you have different things in your community. We’re not intended for all of us to do the same thing. But when we don’t give the best that we have, then we’re wasting what we’ve been given.

And that was just a real challenge to me. As, as hard as I feel that I do work, I do have to put myself in check sometimes and wonder, am I doing the absolute best that I can? And you have my commitment that you’re gonna be getting that, I’m reinvigorated in that capacity, so I’m just so thankful for my UAC people.

I know all of our Australian people watching that are a part of U A C I know you would love to be here but the United States is lagging as always on allowing non-vaccinated individuals into our country. I apologize for the ignorance of my country, but I just want you to know that we love you.

We missed you. We talked about you this weekend. And I can’t wait to be able to see you guys soon as I’m coming out to you. So that’s a little bit of just where I’m at. I’m highly hyper right now. I’m motivated to shoot my videos in my hotel room after, two days of just being with some amazing people.

New Zealand

All right, so let’s dig into this. So in New Zealand I will be coming in again. I know this has been the focal point, but there are just a lot of logistics that have gone into this trip. So I will be coming into town on the 5th of March. Our first event will be, On the campus of the New Zealand Chiropractic College on the seventh at 7:30 PM or 1930 going till nine or 2100, depending on how you guys keep time.

I, I really can’t keep track of who does or doesn’t do that. But we will be on the campus, we’re going to be in the lumbar room there on the campus of the New Zealand Chiropractic College on the 7th of March. Then on the. In March, we’ll be in Christ Church and we’re gonna be at the number four bar. So , in your email, you guys can see links to be able to download the flyers for those particular locations that have the address and a little bit more information.

I also, you’re gonna find a link in this email to a video that I recorded specifically about the town halls, and what we’re gonna be doing. that’s designed for you to be able to share it with your colleagues. I don’t know if I’m gonna expect one person or a hundred people at these meetings. I have no idea we’re not doing a registration because the logistics of that are just pretty crazy.

So I’m open, I’m just letting God lead and whatever happens. But you can download those flyers. They’re in this email. They’ll give you the actual addresses, and let you know where we’re at, on campus. We’re in the lumbar room. Not never been there. So I’m not exactly sure how to direct you to where that room is, but I’m sure we’ll find it together.

And then we will be at the number four bar in Christchurch. So I cannot wait to see you guys. I’m excited and we’ll be there in a couple of weeks. All right. For my Australian people. I am, I’m arriving on Tuesday morning, the 21st. I will be there leaving tomorrow my time and I’ll. Tuesday morning.

And then we will be doing our meeting in Sydney at the Grace Hotel on the 27th. That Thursday. Hold on. I wanna make sure I get this right cuz I screwed this up before. Yep. See, I screwed it up. We’re gonna be meeting on the 23rd in Sydney. At the Grace Hotel again at seven 30 or 1930 hours. And we’ll be going for about an hour and a half.

Again, I would love it, you can find flyers for all of the Australian events in this email. Also I do have a video that I recorded specifically for you guys to be able to market those events as well. And I have everyone come and do that. You can also, I’ll tell you on our main website, I add a link created on the very main page where Click on it that has access to all the flyers.

So for whatever reason you have issues with this particular email, go to our defending Click on that link and it’ll tell you about my schedule and it’ll give you links to the flyer so that you have access to anything to make those events happen. But we will be on the 23rd.

I will be in Sydney at the Grace Hotel at 7:30 PM or 1930. And I cannot wait to meet you guys there on the 24th that evening. I will be in Brisbane. And we are at the Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane. It’ll be a part of the T R P event and I will be speaking Friday night from seven to 7 45. So 1900 to 1945.

I will be speaking there. So if you’re registered for the T R P event, Rock on. It’s gonna be an amazing event. They have some phenomenal information to share. Worth your time, money, and energy to be at that event. If you can be, if you don’t want to go to the whole t r p event, you are still allowed to come, just come around seven o’clock or 1900 hours and then you can still be a part of it.

And then we’ll do a cocktail hour after that where I’ll do meet and greet and all of that kind of stuff. But I’ll speak to that group on the 24th in Brisbane at 7:00 PM or 1900 hours. Our next meeting is gonna be on the Sunshine Coast. That is on the 28th of February. We will be meeting at coast Chiropractic Koana.

Thank you Dr. Mark for the use of your office. I appreciate that very much. We will be there again at 1930 hours and we’ll be there for an hour and a half. So I’m excited to meet you there. Again, flyers and addresses and everything is on the flyers. Make sure you download the appropriate one for the one you’re gonna get.

Please share the video. Would love to have a great turnout. I’m hoping we have Standing Room Remodeling at every one of these meetings and I can help create some energy to share with you the vision of where we’re going, and what’s happening. It’s just gonna be a phenomenal time together please share that information and invite as many people as you can to be a part of that.

I’d love to meet. Then on the 2nd of March, we will be in Melbourne and we’re gonna be at Cahill Chiropractic. So Dr. David Cahill, thank you for opening up your office for us. We’ll be at Cahill Chiropractic. And again, 1930 hours for about an hour and a half. The flyer is attached with the address and all that good information you have.

And again, share the video. Try to invite your colleagues. We’d love to. I’d love to have a standing room only in his clinic. It would be fantastic to have that volume of people. And then I will be at Concordia in Adelaide. That is at the Stanford Plaza Hotel. No, not the Plaza. I got that wrong.

It’s not Stanford, it’s just where Concordia is. It’s right in the flyer, but I’m forgetting it right now. But it’s at Stanford, not the Plaza, it’s at the other facility. Just go to our pay or go to the, download this, the flyer and it’ll tell you exactly where that’s at. But I’m speaking at 10.

Am on the fourth for half an hour, and then I am just hanging around. So I will be around. You can reach out to me if you can’t make it to the event to see me at that point, please just reach out to me and I’m happy to connect with you guys independently. I’m not, I don’t have a lot on my plate.

I’m just gonna be mingling, listening, and meeting people throughout that weekend. But would love to have time with you as well. And then I fly out to Auckland that Sunday. So that is my Australia schedule. Please help me fill these rooms. Again, I wanna share a vision.

I want to create energy, I wanna bring cohesiveness and bring people together and start painting a picture of where we think things are gonna be going. In Australia, we’ve. Got eyes and ears everywhere. We’re learning different things that are happening. I wanna share with you what’s happening around the world, what our vision is, what the purpose of our organization is, and what we see for the future of Australia.

Oh. Also good news. I’m glad I kept rambling. In. Sydney and our Melbourne. I’m gonna have Samir Banga, one of our attorneys is going to be with me at those particular events. So he’s gonna be there talking from a legal perspective on what he’s seen. He’s got some exciting news about different cases that are going on.

Even an added benefit to having some people coming to our events in Sydney and Melbourne. I apologize I can’t have our attorneys at every one of our events, but I definitely will have Samir. At that event on those days. Great, safe hopping to man. I’m so excited. I am, God has just been giving me visions in my mind of what this trip is going to do, and I’m so thankful for all of you and for the opportunity to come to see you.

South Africa

But yeah, we’re coming soon, man. So please go to the link, download the flyers, watch the video, and share the video. Then let’s have great turnouts at these events. I would sure appreciate your help. All right, South Africa. Yeah, unfortunately, we’ve been trying to put this mission trip thing together that I told you about at the end of October.

I’m not sure what’s gonna happen now. We’ve hit some wrinkles, we wanna do it right. As we’ve been looking at the different options for doing things and how it all works. I don’t know if we’re gonna pull it off together this year. So I will let you know for sure if and when that is happening.

I just, we gotta do it right and we’re running out of time to schedule at this point, so I’m not sure if it’s gonna happen this year. If not, we will do it next year for sure. But I still wanna find a time to get with you guys there in South Africa. We have a lot of work to do. And to advance and create a solid foundation for chiropractic there in Cape Town and other aspects of South Africa.

So, unfortunately, I apologize, that’s new information this week. That I’m not sure we’re gonna be able to pull that off. But I will find an opportunity to get down there and meet with you guys and create some momentum. So we appreciate your love and your patience as we’re doing everything we can for you guys there in the South.

All right, Canada. Canada man. Interesting things as always. Met with our attorneys again for the X-ray case. We’ve submitted our letter to the college for our judicial review. We’re still waiting on a date that has not been done now. It’s no longer our reason for that. We’re expecting that to be done soon in British Columbia.

Also are waiting on the decision of our other case where. We were defending again, we already won that issue of the college and how they do their investigations. They appealed it. We went through that case, and defended our position on the appeal. We’re still waiting to hear the judgment on that, but our attorneys, still feel like we’re in a pretty good position for the decision on that case.

But that stuff they take however long they want to take to get that done. But that is going strong. Ontario is very interesting. The case that we’ve been working on in Ontario, we had a minor win. We needed to move some things around and stay at one of the hearings due to a situation with one of our attorneys.

And the college was made a fool out of themselves in the court. And the court pretty much ruled in our favor on that particular request. But the unique thing is it made them look. Pretty bad. Like they’re not communicating, they’re not taking this seriously.

I don’t know how much that will or won’t weigh on the trial itself, but it’s always nice when we can do things the right way and they act like little children and things don’t go their way. The unfortunate news, is that I haven’t had a chance to talk to Dr. Hardick myself, but if you didn’t have, didn’t see the email that he had sent out, is that there was a hearing about how the college removed his eligibility to run.

because of their forced bylaws change. Right now, that preliminary injunction that he was going after was denied. I had a chance to hear probably 70% of that hearing. It was frustrating to sit there and watch and listen to the courts and their position. But our attorneys were watching it as well.

We’re gonna debrief with Dr. Hardick. We’ll see if there if he has any desire to do anything after that. We’ll be reaching out to him soon and we just wanna support him. We’ve had nothing to do with that. We’ve been monitoring and observing just to see the behavior of the college as it helps us and the cases that we’re doing.

But we’ll see where he’s at with that. If there’s anything we can do to help him, we will. , obviously, that’s his decision on how he wants to do it. But here’s what I will tell you and here’s why I want to thank Dr. Hardick publicly. We have to hold them accountable for their behavior. We may not win every single thing, but the more things that we challenge them, and the more times we take them to court, the more that it shows that the college has been very rogue and they have to spend money every time this happens and they get a public black eye.

That their registrants are suing them for different behaviors. So I’m very proud of Dr. Hardick for standing his ground, and for holding them accountable for the decision. It is blatantly obvious why they did what they did. The courts for whatever reason didn’t seem to think it was anything wrong with it.

We disagree. Doesn’t matter. That’s not how the legal system works. But I’m very appreciative of Dr. Hardick for taking the stance that he did. Our case is continuing to move forward. We’re we, as I shared with you before, we’re committed to working this process out. We wanna hold the college accountable.

We’re gonna continue to do and we’re also really looking at that eligibility to run and the way that we’re educating people to sit in those seats for the college. And then we’re just gonna start. I’m not letting up. So if anyone from the college is watching this, if you’re the registrar watching this, if this gets around, I’m telling you the behavior’s gonna stop.

I’m not going anywhere. We’re gonna continue to push, we’re gonna continue to ensure that things are done the right way and the wild West is over. We’re not gonna let it happen anymore. It may take us 10 years, I don’t care. It may take us a million and a half dollars, I don’t care. But we are going to hold them accountable.

They’re not gonna go unpressured anymore for the behavior that they’ve had. So I can never promise you outcomes. What I can promise you is the effort. And the work that we’re doing, and we’re going to continue to do it for you. Chiropractors listening, I need you to understand that we have got to continue coming together.

We have to continue to join under the umbrella of the C D C so that we can sustain these long-term battles. Some of them will win, and some of them we won’t, but it doesn’t mean the battles are not worth it. Even a loss can be strategically necessary for the overall victory. So please, We’re very calculating in the way that we go through things, but our ability to be able to afford to keep our attorneys moving and putting pressure on them is so necessary.

To the change that needs to happen in Canada. So I’m asking you to continue trusting and believing in us. I’m gonna be coming out in June to Ontario. I’ll be in Calgary on March 18th. I’ve already shared that you guys already sent an email. Please, if you have an opportunity or you want to go to Calgary, I would love it, that’s a fundraiser for the c d c I would love for you guys to come to that event.

I’d like to meet you personally but also would help with the financial side of all the cases that we have going on across Canada right now. We would surely love for your support in that. So if you can make that happen, I have already sent that information. I’ll be sending it again to Calgary on March 18th and for whatever reason, if eyou didn’t get that or see that, please email me.

I’ll get you the specifics of how to register for that event. Thank you to Dr. Fransen and t r p for your graciousness to give us all of the proceeds that particular event generates. Much needed and I appreciate it very much. In Quebec, we’re still working in Quebec, our fire team. Diligently working on the elections that are gonna be happening.

Our goal is to make sure that we’re running strong, appropriate people for this next election. And we can start positioning things to hold people accountable and make things happen more appropriately. In Quebec, it’s been pretty bad up there as well, similar to what’s been happening in Ontario.

So we’re working on that. I will be getting you the specifics of the areas because we need some of you to step up and be willing to run. You have support now. You’re not doing it alone. And so we’re gonna, I have our fire team there putting all of that together and I’ll be sharing that with you in next week’s video.

Exactly where we have areas that we need people to consider running. We could talk with you about that, what that means, and all that fun stuff. But lot going on in Quebec as well. And then in Alberta, as I said, I will be in Quebec or excuse me, in Calgary on the 18th. Would love to meet you guys. We’ve still got things going on up there as well all right, man.

Always a lot going on in Canada. Love Canada. Can’t wait to continue to do the work for you guys.

United States

Here in the United States. Had another couple of calls this week on our military project. Things are starting to ramp up. We just released our Dear Colleague letter. And I’m very excited about that to have people sign on to that.

Everyone we talked to about our plan, There’s just a lot of support with that and I’m very optimistic that we should be able to get something through the Appropriations committee here this year. I’m not promising anything anymore, cuz every time I do that, it doesn’t happen. But I am, I feel that we’re in the best position that we’ve ever been in with the work that’s being done right now All right, lots going on.

So here’s my close for today. I’m riding this high from this weekend with everybody here at the UA C event. And I just want you to know I love you, man. It’s just awesome to be in the center of God’s will. It’s awesome to be able to do work that is generational and its natural. And I couldn’t do it without you guys.

Man. I need you to remember, why you do what you do, why you’re a chiropractor, and what led you into this. And those of you that aren’t chiropractors, I know I speak a lot directly to Cairos, that’s 90% of our organization is Cairos, but I don’t mean to leave out our other allied health and individuals that are connected.

We love having you a part of this as well. Please don’t take it personally. We’re just, we are a chiropractic organization and we love those that want to go along with our ride and we appreciate it. And we’re happy to protect you in the same manner that we’re protecting our chiros. But I just don’t want you to think that I forget about that.

All of you, no matter what your field or specialty is, Th there’s a purpose and a plan, right? We, that purpose that has to justify the suffering, right? We’ve been suffering, especially those of you in the countries where you have governments that have just totally thrown away your rights.

But there’s a purpose behind this. We now have the opportunity to stand in history and make a difference. And I’m honored to be able to do that with you. And we are making a difference. And so I can’t wait to meet a lot of you. I’m losing my voice, so I’m gonna end this now. But I love you. I appreciate you.

I will be back at you next week but I’ll be in Australia, so I’ll be filming my videos from Australia, but I’m excited to give you updates on everything that’s happening and what’s going on, and I just can’t thank you, guys, enough for your support. We love you. We appreciate you. God bless you, and we’ll be back to you next week.

See ya.
