Oh Canada, man. Do we have a lot to share with you today? Everything from the new mandate in BC to the letter that we’ve sent to the Lieutenant, uh, attorney general to the new attorneys that we’ve brought onto our team, how we’re working with allied professionals, everything that’s going on throughout all of Canada, there’s, there’s just a ton of stuff happening. So I’m excited to bring you those updates today. Hello everybody. This is Bharon Hoag the executive director of OneChiropractic and the Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today, Monday, February 21st for your weekly update. So this video is, is really for our chiropractors and now our new allied health professional friends that we’re starting to invite into this fight with us. We so glad that you’re here today. Um, I do wanna clear one thing up right away…
You know, I’ve been getting emails that apparently it’s gotten out there that we’re only representing chiropractors. I, I wanna be very clear. This particular issue affects everybody that is, that practices does not want to get vaccinated is self-employed and the mandate would potentially affect you. You’re invited into our tribe. This is, this is really about all of us. We will never do anything where we’re going in to deal with any of these where we’re just carving out one particular specialty more than the other. Um, we treat all of our ally just as we do our chiropractors. Uh, I’ve tried to make it very clear in the beginning. We are a chiropractic organization. Our mission as a whole is to advance chiropractic. But when we get into these battles that we treat everybody the same. So I don’t, I’m not sure if this is just people out there not wanting to see us succeed.
And so they’re putting seeds of doubt out there, but I, I wanna be very clear and very transparent, right? At the very beginning that we treat our allied health, exact same as we treat our chiros. If we end up getting this, uh, the pho comes out and we find loopholes and you follow our loopholes. And if anyone challenges you we’ll defend you just, as we have our chiros, if we end up doing any kind of legal battle, you will be included in that as well of making sure that your specialties are, are, um, affected by the work that we do as well. So not sure where that’s coming from, but wanted to kind of cut that out of the air. Very, very clear. So obviously I I’m actually recording this on Friday, I have some stuff to doThis weekend. So maybe by Monday when you watch this, something might have come out, but I doubt it’s gnna come out over the weekend. But as of right now, um, six o’clock Eastern time, um, there is still no P O um, I heard rumors that, you know, there is stuff being shopped around, but we still haven’t seen it. It still has not come to the general public.
Um, that may happen on Monday. I’m not sure, but to this date we still do not have a P O so we’ll see exactly what that thing says if and when it comes out. Um, but the good news is that we, um, have really expanded our attorneys, um, are starting to work with a couple of constitutional attorneys, um, that have been working with the dentists and working with some other allied hope, uh, folks. And we’re starting to bring our team all together. So our attorney has been communicating with them. I personally have communicated with them.
So we’re starting to build this phenomenal consortium of experts to be able to go and defend our rights as we move forward with this potential mandate. Um, but I do wanna tell you that we have in a phenomenally crafted letter that we have sent to the Lieutenant attorney general, basically calling out the faultiness of Bonnie’s, um, uh, press conference and her assumed P O that’s going to be coming out. It’s a very, very well written document, a three page document, really highlighting everything that’s going on in the world. All the latest research, all the way up to February 12th, we, we have quoted, um, and done stuff. So our team has done a phenomenal job. So that has gone to the attorney general, asking them to please step in and let Bonnie know that this is just not an appropriate behavior considering what’s happening in the rest of the world.
So we’ll let you know, as that letter, um, as we get a response, if we get a response, we’re not sure if we will or not, but it’s part of our strategy to try to hit this preemptively. Um, and we can also use that at retroactively. Should we end up putting together any type of legal action? We can say that we did try to reach out beforehand to curb behavior. So that has already been issued. That was actually sent yesterday Thursday, um, the 17th. So we’ll keep you updated on that as well. Um, we are also continuing to communicate with other specialties. I know I’m gonna be on a couple of different calls. I already have been with psychologists with, uh, RMTs um, we’re working with acupuncturists, um, and we’re trying to just spread the word about the way that our organization operates and bring everyone under kind of one umbrella so that it’s a much easier process nobody’s giving excessively, uh, more than anyone else in.
And we have the resources we need to go after this particular issue. So I’m very, very pleased about everything that’s been happening in British Columbia. Um, I also want you to know that our attorneys are working with, um, our attorneys throughout Canada. So we have attorneys in Alberta. We have an attorney in Ontario, so we’re all working together. Um, making sure that we’re bringing information from [00:05:00] different provinces and territories and we’re bringing it into play into British Columbia as well. So I wanna give you a reaffirming. We did a webinar for you for those that are on our telegram group. I did a little voice message as well, cuz I know there’s just lots of stuff, flying all around a million suggestions. People are, are amped up, which I completely understand, but I’m asking you to relax. I’m asking you to trust the pro. We’re not asleep on this thing.
We’re, we’re keeping very, very close tabs of what’s happening. We’re putting together the best team possible to ensure that your rights are protected. What I need you doing is practicing. What I need you doing is keeping your energy moving forward on spreading the truth of chiropractic, spreading the truth of your particular specialty and empowering the public. Understand the truth about health. I’m not asking you to be a cavalier advocate. I’m not asking you to go and try to lead some massive movement in your community. If that’s God’s calling on your life, I would never tell you to stop. But what I need you doing is what you do every day and what you do best. And that’s being the provider that you are telling your unique story about your view of health, empowering your community, to make sure that they understand that. And they start applying that to their lives.
We will do the fighting. I promise you, uh, we have a very good track record around the world. We’re gonna carry that track record right into Canada as well. You can rest assure that we’ll do everything thing within our power to make sure that your rights are protected, but I need you doing what I can’t do, which is seeing your patients doing the work that you do and not getting all ramped up. I had a call with another, uh, chiropractor that reached out to me. That is, that was just so stressed and wanting to storm the castle. And, and you know, I, I had an awesome opportunity of just communicating with her. I need her relaxing, taking a deep breath and functioning out of faith, not fear. And I know you’re probably saying bear, and that’s easy for you to say because you’re not facing what we’re facing and I hear you.
And that is true. But I deal with this every day, all over the world. And I can tell you when we move out of faith, not fear, their ability to control our outcome is, is very limited. If we remain in, they actually win already without even having to get you vaccinated, they’ve already destroyed your will to move forward. They’ve already destroyed your faith in the process. And I, I don’t want that to happen. I want you to be empowered. I want us to stand strong, be very strategic, be diligent, have the resolve to stand strong and make sure the truth of health and the truth of our choice remains intact. And that’s what we’re about here at the chiropractic defense council. So if you’re watching this, thank you for taking the time to watch it know that we are actively working.
